Introduction
PRE-GTX is the latest innovative offering from the masters of sound. The finest analog components are used to create a very rich and full tone with plenty of sustain and the most flexible tone control in a guitar preamp ever. From ultraclean backings over crunchy rhythm to a state of the art lead sound full of richness and warmth - that is the flexibilty this amp gives you just by turning the volume knob of your guitar. The full parametric EQ let you sculpt the sound in any direction. An innovative two channel routing concept allows to play both channels simultaneously - in series or parallel configuration for even more tonal flexibilty.
What you can do
The PRE-GTX sports multiple outputs - dedicated recording outputs with speaker simulation for each channel, direct outputs for your favorite guitar amp with switchable speaker simulation, switchable FX-Sends and even a headphones amp for practising in your hotel room. All routing switches can be controlled via MIDI and the special foot control, that connects direct to the preamp. If it comes to studio work one will welcome the symmetrical reamping input. One can feed the recorded guitar track directly into the preamp and tweak the sound further. On stage one can connect the direct output to a guitar amplifiert for monitoring and controlled feedback and insert the main output directly into the stage box for the most satisfying live stage sound ever.
The innovative relay input switching system sets the PRE-GTX into true bypass operation as soon as you turn the preamp off. Alternativly all amplifier stages can be bypassed independent from each other. If you bypass the input saturation stage, you will get a perfect clean sound for you acoustic guitar. If you want to use the input stage of the PRE-GTX and add an external EQ just insert the external EQ and bypass the internal one. Everything can be controlled with the frontpanel,the attached footpedal or even by MIDI if one wants to control his entire setup with a MIDI remote system.
